ScanEagle
The Boeing ScanEagle is a light reconnaissance drone developed by Boeing and Insitu. Entering service in 2005, it can fly for up to 20 hours, over 100 km, at speeds of 120 km/h. Launched by a catapult and recovered with the SkyHooksystem, it’s used by many armies for surveillance and intelligence missions.
In Iran, several units were reportedly captured and replicated as the Qods Yasir, highlighting the ScanEagle’s strategic impact on global military drone development.
