Geran 2

The Geran-2 is the Russian-built version of Iran’s Shahed-136 loitering munition.
Designed for long-range precision strikes, it carries a 52 – 90 kg warhead, flies up to 2 500 km, and reaches speeds of 185 km/h.

Powered by a piston engine and guided via GLONASS / INS, it can be launched in large swarms from mobile trucks.
Recent upgrades include anti-jamming systems, composite airframes, and even AI-assisted targeting using onboard processors and cameras.

Cheap, reliable, and mass-produced, the Geran-2 has become a symbol of attrition warfare a drone built not for elegance, but for endurance and impact.
